welcome back!

I hope everyone had a nice break last week. Today, I would like for you to ensure you are caught up on previous blog assignments: check the posts and complete that first. Secondly, I would like for you to make 1 comment on this posting, telling me about your break, how art class is going for you so far or some other information you wish to share. Also, visit everyone's blog and leave a short, positive comment on their latest post. Third, I want you to find 2 landscape pictures that you would like to paint later on and post them to your blog. If you finish that, you may change your blog profile, add some other gadgets or other creative activities.

Blogging: Part Trois!

Here we are again. So this is our third class of blogging. Today you are going to do a few things. First, make sure you are caught up with the activities for day 1 and 2. Look at the instructions on the other posts. Second, you will add a survey and list to your blog. You will go into add a gadget to do both of these. The survey can be about a variety of topics. Have a look at the one on this page. The list will be a list of your favorite TV shows or activities or songs or something like that. You should include 5-6 items in your list and survey.
Third you will answer the following question by posting it on your blog:
You are given $100,000, but you cannot spend it on yourself or your immediate family. What would you do with it and why? (1 paragraph)
Read the answers the other people in class and be sure to complete the surveys that people post on their blogs.

Blogging: part deux!

Well, it looks like most of you survived the first class of blogging mostly in one piece. Today we're going to try to get more familiar with the software and add some features to your blog. Please do the following:
1. add list of class blogs in the link list gadget (refer to handout with instructions and addresses)
2. add a picture of a work of art or art style that you like (modern or classic, even graffiti) as long as it is school appropriate.
3. answer the following question by making a post on your blog: What are the three most important qualities that makes someone a good friend? Why?

Have a great day and weekend!

welcome to the world of blogging!

Hello everybody!
Your first task is of course to set up your blog. You should edit your profile, adjust the colour or layout of your blog, and write down your blog address and password on the sheet of paper that is coming around and then do your first post. I will take you through step by step in how to set it up. Once the sheet with the addresses has been passed around, we will create a link list (in the add a gadget tool) that includes all of blog addresses of the class. This is important because you will need to leave comments on the posts of other students later on.
Please leave a comment on my blog (this post) to let me know that you have set everything up.

Your first post will be to answer the following question:
If you could design the perfect room in your house, what would you do? Include descriptions of colours, layout, technology, and interesting features that would make it perfect for you and what you like to do. Money is not an object, the only limit is your imagination.
